Try some polmolive dish soap with oxy clean and bleach alternative. I use this alot on our clothes, this stuff took out Hawain Punch out of our white towels after my 11 year old twins decided to use them to clean up a spill. I have no doubt in my mind this will work for tomatoe sauce as it also has worked for salsa, and ketchup stains. You may have to soak for a few days, just make sure to change the water, and use proper temperature for clothing color. Make sure you check the article of clothing before it goes in the dryer as the heat from the dryer will set the stain.
