Question by still wondering…: Is there anything that can be used to cover unused bulb sockets?
We have a light right above our dining table with 4 bulb sockets, but we only use two bulbs. We think it unnecessary to use all four. Now we need something to put in the empty sockets to prevent curious fingers from getting to it.

First, if the fixture is ABOVE your dining table, it is not a very easy thing for “curious fingers” to engage. On the other hand, it’s better safe than sorry, so…
I suggest that you go to your local hardware store, or Home Depot, or Lowe’s, or similar building supply.
In the electrical department they will have SINGLE RECEPTACLE devices that have a screw base [just like a light bulb has]. The purpose of these devices is to allow one to plug an extension or power cord into a light bulb socket.
Simply screw one of these devices into the unused light sockets and exploring fingers cannot get into the sockets.

So am buying a 8 ft by 4 ft pool table and i know that a regulation size pool table is around 9ft. So am wonder is it gonna be hard to play, easier to play or about the same. My house size is pretty big so size doesn’t really matter.
Also the table is made of 35% blend of wool for the cloth…… is that bad?

8 foot table will make it just a slight bit easier to make shots because there is less distance between the pockets. A 9 foot table however can seem huge if your are not used to playing on one, but it will make you a much better player because you need to be just a bit more accurate on your longer shots. Also, the balls will not be quite as cluttered on the bigger table. All in all though, either one is a good choice. As for the cloth, i really dont know much about the different materials.

Is there any product I can purchase easily that really tastes almost like real table salt, but is still healthy?
BTW — “No Salt” is the stuff I’m talking about… It tastes NOTHING like salt (to me at least).

Problem is that my home is soo tiny even a small dinette set would take up to much space. So my idea is to find a long skinny table to use so it can flank the wall then have 3 little stools fit neatly under it. Prblm is I can’t find a table like this. Depends on the rest of your kitchen – but a distressed look is great – the dents and dings only ADD to distressed look. if you want to sand the table a little and apply a light coat of paint such as white or light green or light blue and then wipe away mos tof the paint before it dries…

An excellent cleaner for glass are those wipes people buy for babies diaper changes. Wipe the glass several times and dry immediately with a clean white cloth.
