Question by makeupclueless: How to remove Pledge stains on bamboo table?
I used Pledge on my bamboo table and now have discolored stains all over the table. It’s a brand new table and I’m really bummed about it. Any advice on how to get rid of the stains?
Thanks for the answers so far. The thing is that bamboo is a type of GRASS, not a wood, so I don’t believe that cleaners designed for wood actually work on bamboo. Thanks again.

Not knowing anything about bamboo in particular, I do know that lemon juice is a good cleaner for wood. I think I would contact the store where you purchased the bamboo table or the manufacturer and see if you can get information there. Good Luck!

Don’t cover it. Show it off! but use a good wood cleaner on it regularly to keep up the finish, like an orange oil. Never let water sit on it, or glasses of water, the condensation will run down the side of the cup and create rings.

Then, one of the first times I wore it, somehow, I’m not even sure how, I got some kind of oil on the front of it…I think it was an Italian salad dressing because that was the only oil I can remember being exposed to that day. Does anyone know of a way to get the oil completely out? I tried rubbing it out with a damp cloth but it seemed to wear the fabric down. I was going to just go and buy anther one, but they are out of stock online! ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED! Serious answers only please!

Try a mechanic’s hand cleaner like Goop or GoJo.
They are made for grease & oil .
Rub it in & throw it in the wash.
Saved a tablecloth for my wife with it.
