Question by c_patching: How does one go about painting a table with a laminate top?
I have a dining room table that is in dire need of a new coat of paint, but it has what I believe to be a laminate top. Do I need to (or can I even )pry that up? Or can I sand it and paint over it?

Answer by E Y You need to sand it with a fine sand paper and then prime it. It will then be ready for paint.

Question by klein b: anyone know the name of this painting and who it is by?
i was searching the web for a picture of something totally unrelated, and came across this painting. i dont have the link i just assumed it was by hieronymus bosch based on the style. now im trying to find the name i dont have the original url for the painting, i can try to describe it. in the center of it is a building of some sort on fire. in the upper right is a grassless hill w/ trees w/ broken wheels on them and a man about to be beheaded by a skeleton. the lower right show what appears to be a battle w/ an army of skeletons marching behind large tower shields there is a man drawing a sword by a table w/ a white table cloth. in the background in the upper left is a hill w/ black smoke and a red sky coming out from it. the lower left has a king wearing plate armor is laying on his back w/ a skeletal figure behind him, he is next to some barrels of gold and silver with a skeletal figure in armor clamoring for the loot

Question by peter_jochems_nl: Is wood-glue good for glueing painting linen on wood?
I am a painter and I like to glue linen on wood to paint on. Is it a good method to glue linen on wood? I want my paintings to be preserved properly in the long run, can the glue damage the painted surface for some reason? What do you think of this method? I like to paint small paintings and I like the hard surface the wood provides this way.

But in the end I decided to start the campaign by dousing the players in the face with some ice cold water. The ugly job of the Inquisition. The idea of Exterminatis is pretty wild: the extinction of an entire world to save other worlds. Let me be clear– I am not expressing my own opinion here, just posing a question. I found this picture of an Iraqi boy who had third degree burns over most of his body and had both his arms blown off during an american bombing run. From the edge of the picture, you can see his mother’s hand reaching in to mop his brow. His eyes were black with pain and lack of sleep. In the caption, it says that he has a 50/50 chance of survival. It made me think: what was worth this? Couldn’t the ambassadors of these nations work things out?
