Question by Relationship_issues: Alright, I have decided to go with the white stationary along with the ivory linens. The question now is which
invitation set to use. The programs (to explain the donation) will be placed in the invitation envelopes along with the bookmark from one of the charities.
The response cards that come with both of the invitation kits listed below match the programs (border is the same) & will be given to my mom for well wishes at my shower.
The invitations from the kit will be the menu & will rest on top of the plate settings. (The programs in the envelopes will either sit above the plate on the table – or will be under the menus on the plates. Those envelopes will say “To Our Guests”. But not sure where they will be)
BUT the invitations (which will be used for the menus come in the pearl border & the pearl swirl. Again the programs will be pearl border & the response cards in BOTH of these invitation kits is also pearl border. So the only difference is to use Pearl border or Pearl Swirl for the menus.
Again, the tablecloths & napkins will be ivory, the table runner will be burgandy.
My dress is white and the place cards will be white pearl border as well.

Question by sunny_happy_daisy: Did your rent colored linens for your wedding? How much was it? Was it worth it?
So I just found out that that color of the tables cloths at my reception venue is a different color than I had originally thought and going to look pretty bad with everything else we have done. The wedding is only 5 weeks away and Tuesday we are talking to someone about renting out table cloths and napkins. I have no clue what to expect to be paying per table, they seem to not post prices on their websites. I feel like it will be worth the extra cost since table cloths make a pretty big impact in the room, compared to other details, but I just wanted to hear what people had to say.
I was considering just buying online but I am worried about getting hit with huge set up charges if it do. We don’t get the space early so whatever I set up on my own I will be setting up in my wedding dress 15 min before the wedding LOL.

My venue rented colored linens, the standard was white. I found out that buying them was less than renting them. I boucgh colored napkins online for less than it would have costed to rent them. www.linentablecloth.com

Hi, I want to do an organic look guest bedroom. It is a pretty small room but I still need help. The walls are a greyish shade and the trim is white. The room is too small for end tables- I have a dark wood sleigh bed, and tv stand. Just put all white linens on bed and like it but don’t know where to go from here. What color or design drapes? Pics? Florals? Rug? I want the look to be complete Zen, if you have any suggestions it would help. Thank you!

Question by Naughty ♥Angel♥ Mommy2B!: Wedding colors: what kind of flowers will go with purple and lavender linens and napkins?
I’ve always wanted to do my wedding color as purple, although I am open to suggestions since purple seems a very difficult color to find (esp. for BM dresses). My idea was to do royal purple tablecloths with lavender napkins. HOWEVER, my mom came up with a very original (and awesome) idea that we should have different centerpieces for each table, made up entirely of one flower for each table. Meaning, instead of place cards with table numbers, we would have little pictures of the specific flower, such as: the sunflower table, the tulip table, etc.
I really dont want white linens, but how can I do purple linens with all these different color flowers on each table without it looking tacky? What do you think?

PS Purple is negotiable, the different flower centerpiece idea is not.
