Is it tacky to wear a see-through white linen shirt with a black bra?

Question by soda pop: Is it tacky to wear a see-through white linen shirt with a black bra?
It’s a really thin, airy, shirt..kind of loose..a little conservative. I don’t want to wear a tank underneath because its way too hot. All my bras are black. I’m not going anywhere conservative, I just want to go shopping before I have to go to school.
i see. okay, frumpy old t-shirt it is

Question by fizzy stuff: I washed my linen pants, they shrunk! Any suggestions?
I cant believe I did this, Im so stupid. I handwashed the linen pants, and let them drip dry. They shrunk!! Do you have ANYTHING for me to try to stretch them out– theyre too short now– Ill try anything, theyre ruined anyway.
They are 70% linen, 28% rayon, 2% polyurethane.

I really don’t think that there is anything you can do about it.
Sometimes people do take a change and wash linen pants by hand (cold water)

I don’t think that you can change that they shrunk but maybe you can get them made into. I forgot what you call them boreno pants.
They are shorter and you can get someone to fix them for you.
Look up some ideas for shorter pants on the internet. Maybe you can have them sewed to be a different kind of pants.

      Warm Regards
      Michele

I wash everything on a cold wash, just use an appropriate washing detergent. If you want to wash on warm or hot, read labels on the washing powder

Is S$865 a fair price for a custome linen suit in Singapore?

Question by dj_ribbs: Is S5 a fair price for a custome linen suit in Singapore?
I was quoted S5 for a “highest quality” linen 2pc suit at Eurobest tailor on Pagoda Street in Singapore. Is that a good price? I’m an expat (white) so please take this into account as I think locals get better deals.

              Answer by me =)
that can be quite expensive though, or maybe depends on the quality of the suit, have you tried bargain with them over the price, or perhaps next time look for other tailor services on 88db and compare their prices, i’m sure you can get lower than that….hope this helps

Question by blondybefore: How to remove oil stains from linen cotton blend skirt — HELP!?
I just bought this cute skirt from Walmart…

                  http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=5366561

Then, one of the first times I wore it, somehow, I’m not even sure how, I got some kind of oil on the front of it…I think it was an Italian salad dressing because that was the only oil I can remember being exposed to that day. Does anyone know of a way to get the oil completely out? I tried rubbing it out with a damp cloth but it seemed to wear the fabric down. I was going to just go and buy anther one, but they are out of stock online! ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED! Serious answers only please!

Try a mechanic’s hand cleaner like Goop or GoJo.
They are made for grease & oil .
Rub it in & throw it in the wash.
Saved a tablecloth for my wife with it.

I haven’t played in a long time, but there was a general rule to it. Every time you level, your character gains 5 more points for skills. So, level 60 characters have 300 skill points and 300 / 60 = 5. If you apply this logic towards your skills, you can figure out where you should farm. Say you have 100 skill in Tailoring. You do 100 / 5 and you get 20. You should farm Humanoids that are around level 20.

I used this for Mining and Blacksmithing when I used to play.
