My dress is Champagne, almost a very very pale apricot, and our colours for the wedding are purple and lilac. Like the table linen and napkins, flowers, favour bags etc. Do you think it’s going to look OK? What colour would I or should I have for bridesmaids ranging from 3 to 43. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks.

Well it looks like we might have found the site for our May 2008 wedding ceremony and reception. It’s called Parkway by the Lake and they offer an outside ceremony under a tent and a reception inside. The price would be a person, but that includes:
5 hours open bar
champagne or wine toast for all
hot and cold hors d’oeuvres
fresh jumbo shrimp
sitdown dinner (entree, salad, potatoe, and vegetable)
wedding cake of our choice
dessert table
chocolate fountain
outdoor wedding ceremony under a tent.
chair covers and colored sashes at the tables
It also includes:
China, linens, glassware, cake cutting, premium liquor, skirted head, gift and cake table, setting up and taking down, bartender, and no extra charge for either the reception hall or the outside ceremony site.
It includes everything that we wanted and at a pretty good price.

As a New Year’s resolution, I’ve decided to cut down on my sodium intake. I’ve already tried to do this for quite a while, but I’ve searched and searched for products that taste like actual table salt — but most really don’t taste like it at all.
Is there any product I can purchase easily that really tastes almost like real table salt, but is still healthy?
BTW — “No Salt” is the stuff I’m talking about… It tastes NOTHING like salt (to me at least).

i was thinking a pirate theme with a mix cd to dance too seafood. everyone would dress up. and then we would go on a scavenger hunt (ps my house is on water soo i think that would be a good touch).
CASINO (LAS VEGAS):
I was thinking about getting green felt (it’s a couple dollars a yard) white fabric paint and draw some casino table cloths, cut to fit eactly on the table top and use double sided tape to secure in place…
Name my casino with my name so I might go with Ashley’s Treasure Island Casino (bring in some pirate theme stuff to round out the theme) or Ashley’s Luxor (egyptian stuff to round out the theme) you get the idea….
STILL FOR CASINO (LAS VEGAS):
I looked in the local telephone book often there are rental companies that have Casino equipment (slot machines, roulette tables etc.) they rent out for charity Casino nights..
A magician would be good. Then i would have a cocktail waitress coming around with trays of non-alcoholic beverages.
Carnival: have carnival games like the these: buy really cheap lil fish and put them in red cups with water obviously fill clear cup with just water and the fill green cups with water and a small prize and scatter them on a table outside…buy a piece of cork board and pin balloons by their tails make them stand back and throw darts trying to pop one if they do give them a prize also look into.
Basicly im gunna have tons of rentals and stuff like make your own music video, orbatron, laser tag, photo booth, wax hands,giant twister,human bowling, trampoline thing.Then i would have foods like cotten candy, elephant ears, fresh squeezed lemonade, snow cones popcorn
Hollywood: get a red carpet they have those at party city, make it like an award ceremony and hand out a survey filled like who here has the best smile, eyes, laugh ECT. Count the votes and give awards to the winners. Then have a dj and just dance.
Serve sparkling cider in champagne glasses.
Decorate with lots of gold and silver – like stars and large mylar balloon shaped like stars. Or even movie posters around the walls, if you can.
For music, play songs from soundtracks or movie scores.
As people enter the party, have an announcement or salute, like the little introduction at the beginning of 20th Century Fox movies (for girls) or the lion’s roar at the beginning of MGM movies (for boys).
Have everyone dress like their favorite movie star or role in a movie.
Everyone should wear dark sunglasses, at least at first – take a picture of everyone wearing their sunglasses.
Hire a photographer and have them walk around all night taking pictures, like papparazzi.

I’m going to buy a two shelf glass coffee table and put a light green table cloth over it. On the top shelf I’ll put statues of the green man and norse gods with my green crystal ball, green runes and green and opaque crystals such as quartz. I’ll have white, dark green and light green candles and vanilla incence. I’ll have a mini cauldron and put the nine woods from the wiccan rede. I’ll have an athame and chalice for rituals. On the bottom shelf I’ll have a celtic trinket box and put my pentagrams, pentacles and celtic jewelery in it. I’ll have my angel cards, tarot cards, goddess oracle cards, mermaid cards, fairy cards, book of shadows and my most important books on wicca/witchcraft/paganism and smaller candles.
Elsewhere in my room I’ll have a green duvet, pagan/wiccan posters on my walls, shelves with wiccan/pagan/witchcraft books, new age music and gods and goddesses statues, on my windowsill I’ll have a miniture herb garden and more statues.
Does this sound like a good idea for my new room? I found an occult shop and they do all that really cheap and if they don’t have it, I can get it from Asda, Tesco, Poundland, Dunelm or ESK. my mum has a rich boyfriend to buy the other stuff I can’t afford and my grandad will put up the shelves. Is there anything else I should get? I’m a wiccan/witch if you haven’t already guessed and I believe in many gods and goddesses from many different cultures and times but my favorite are the Celtic and Norse.

It is a case of exploitation for some perceived gain.
Too many don’t see how imbalanced a trade they make;
paid airfare, court costs, TV exposure, some fun and only a small amount of actual help in a public forum that robs them of dignity and privacy and brings notoriety rather than celebrity.

I had a dream last night, that my dad and I were going to stay at a hotel. The hotel inside was sort of set up as a large hallway which all the rooms branched from. Numbers were on top of the door, denoting which room was which. I only remember it was extremely hard to find my room. The hallways were dingy and dark, but the room inside was big, open, and beautiful with only one window. My boyfriend was also staying at the hotel, and I looked outside the window to it snowing. So I texted him, and told him to meet me outside in the snow. There were a lot of other people there with us outside and the exit had some sort of porch above the door. I went back inside and it took me a long time to find my room again. After finally finding it, I went inside to greet my dad. We were in the main room with the window, and I looked outside to the snow again. My dog Sadie was outside. (In real life whenever my dog is in heat all of the family always worries about taking her for walks because we’re afraid a male dog will get a hold of her.) I saw another dog with her, which was a little rat terrier. I wanted to go outside and get them apart, but for some reason I couldn’t leave the room and I was stuck kicking myself. A little bit later, somehow my dog and the stray found their way into the room with my dad and I. The terrier seemed nice at first, but I noticed there was something weird about him. Then I found blood on the floor, and the terrier coincidentally disappeared. I wanted to get out and try to see my boyfriend or something but I felt trapped. I went into a different part of the room, and I saw my dad carry my dog and lay her on the table. As I walked closer I saw that her small body was covered in a mass of blood matted and flowing with her blood. Every inch of her trembling hurt body, even her head… and then I had a sinking feeling that the terrier had done it, and I knew he was still in the room somewhere hiding. My dad retrieved a white cloth and laid it on top of her, to try and either cover her or stop the bleeding, but the blood continued to seep through from her helpless body into the white cloth… and then I woke up.
