The Mummy is a 1932 horror classic from Universal Pictures directed by Karl Freund and starring Boris Karloff as a revived ancient Egyptian priest. The movie also features Zita Johann, David Manners and Edward van Sloan. The Mummy Starring Boris Karloff 1932 An Ancient Egyptian priest called Imhotep is revived when an archaeological expedition finds Imhotep’s mummy and one of the archaeologists accidentally reads an ancient life-giving spell. Imhotep escapes from the archaeologists and prowls Cairo seeking the reincarnation of the soul of his ancient lover, Princess Ankh-es-en-amon. Imhotep was once mummified alive for attempting to resurrect her, and, upon finding her reincarnated, attempts to mummify her and make her his bride. In the end, she is saved when she remembers her past life and prays to the goddess Isis to save her. The young woman utters a prayer and the scroll containing the resurrection spell is burned, and Imhotep dissolved. Inspired by the opening of Tutankhamun’s tomb in 1922 and the Curse of the Pharaohs, producer Carl Laemmle Jr. commissioned story editor Richard Shayer to find a literary novel to form a basis for an Egyptian-themed horror film, just as Dracula and Frankenstein informed their previous hits. Shayer found none, but he and writer Nina Wilox Putnam learned about Alessandro Cagliostro and wrote a nine-page treatment entitled Cagliostro. The story, set in San Francisco, was about a 3000-year old magician who survives by injecting nitrates …

For more news visit ☛ english.ntdtv.com Follow us on Twitter ☛ http Add us on Facebook ☛ facebook.com One thing closely related to Easter is colored and decorated eggs. There are all kinds of ways and techniques of how to decorate Easter eggs. The scrape etching method is one of the most difficult techniques which is used chiefly in Slovacko, in south region of Moravia bordering Slovakia. Here you can find the best Easter egg makers. Two neighbors and longtime friends in Moravia, the Czech Republic are keeping the tradition of egg carving alive. Moravia borders Slovakia, an old region, where you can find many folk traditions, including egg-carving. But in recent years the tradition has almost died out. Terezie Pistekova says the traditions have gradually been lost since the old residents have been replaced by people from the city. [Terezie Pistekova, Artist]: “There were mines here, plenty of mines; there’s a brick factory too so we had many people from other regions come to live here…then it all started to decline.” Katerina Gasnarkova remembers that Easter egg decorating was a skill many possessed in the old days. [Katerina Gasnarkova, Artist]: “We colored them in the summer, and then in winter, when we had more time, we would carve them.” Typical colors of Slovacko’s Easter eggs are black and white, from a mixture of Indian ink and varnish. [Terezie Pistekova, Artist]: “The egg must be white and hard-boiled. After it’s boiled, you have to color it (instantly) or …
Question by Mike: How do you pay taxes on under the table work?
I get paid under the table for my work and I wanted to apply for credit but I need proof of income. But my boss does not take taxes or anything out of my pay. I was wondering how do you report to the irs on how much you make and how do you pay taxes on it?
I work for my a family member. Its there own business so she just pays me.
My family member who i work for has to do the same thing. She reports to the irs how much she makes and thats how she pays taxes.

Answer by Nien Nunb
Don’t do it unless you want to be out of a job. What your boss is doing is illegal. Tell your boss you want to be paid legitimately.

Question by Katie S: 4 weeks till my wedding and need help!!!?
My wedding is in 4 WEEKS! and my mom likes the idea of rectangle tables for the outside reception with plastic table cloths. My future mother in law is in charge of getting the tables for the reception and likes the round (so its not so cafeteria-ish) with white linens that was given to use for free. This is causing conflict with my mom. I’ve afraid to voice my opinion so there isn’t anymore conflict. I like the idea of round tables with the linens for the guests and 3 rectangle tables placed in a U for the bridal party, but my mom said the linens are not good for outside receptions. Is something really wrong with that??

Answer by jekealey
Not unless it rains! But you should really voice your opinion, it’s your wedding, it’s your decision. Not to mention, if you placed your mother-in-law in charge of tables, then you should stick by the appointment. Your idea seems to be a happy medium, so go with that, and don’t let anyone make you feel like you can’t have what you want on your wedding day!
