We’ve been told wat to do during a tornado or a hurricane, ex( stay away from the windows, hide under a table, cover ur head) but wat if a “nuclear bomb”, or a “comet” was on a collision for “your” city? hiding under a table will surely not save U from something of this scale. What would be the best thing to do to survive this ordeal? If anything? could someone possibly survive a nuclear blast or a comet hitting the earth? What would you do?

I bought a solid wood table that seems to be quite old. It’s stained and covered with a waxy substance that’s a little sticky. What’s the best way to remove the waxy buildup? Afterwards, should I stain it or just use furniture polish, or oil?

I have a German coffee table that has carved the Black Forest in Germany. It is recess in with a glass cover over the carving. Giving you a 3-D effect.

You’ll need to scour the internet for tables similar (as similar as possible) to yours and see what the market value is or what they are selling them for. Usually if you can provide a couple of comparables, they will have to abide by that value & price accordingly, but realize that insurance companies are used to people jacking up the value of their belongings due to sentimental reasons and not necessarily actual value. This is why you need to provide proof somehow as pricing antiques is very complicated. No 2 pieces are ever identical and unless it was professionally appraised it’s going to be difficult to establish a fair value otherwise. Having pictures of it is good – at least it shows what it looked like prior to the water damage (hopefully).

I’ve only recently started playing EVE Online and found myself being fascinated by those enormous spaceships. Thanks to a great piece of software called TriExporter, I was able to import these models into Maya and decided to render some Amarr ships as “miniatures” 
For those not familiar with the metric system: 1 meter equals about 1 yard. 1 km equals about 0.6 miles. I may not have gotten all the colors right since I’m just beginning to play (and loving it btw) and won’t encounter most of these ships until a few months in. Sadly, some of the textures that come with the game are a little low in terms of resolution (especially for the avatar) but I did my best to cover that up… Some of the shaders could use improvement but since this is just a quick set-up, and apart from the occasional flickering, it looks good enough for now. Software: TriExporter, Photoshop, Maya, After Effects Music: Arboretum by Max Richter Models and Textures: CCP Games Inspired by TakeBackTheWorld (HL2 engine) and arkorum (Crysis engine), thanks!
