Can you clean a white table cloth with a pattern with bleach?

I have a beautiful 1930’s table cloth that had coffee spilled over it. It is white cotton, with a floral pattern. Can I bleach this?

Ofrendas

This video is compiled of ofrendas in Taxco and Cuernavaca. The Day of the Dead (Dia De Los Muertos) originated in Mexico and is still celebrated there as a national holiday. The Day of the Dead is usually celebrated on November 1st or 2nd, and while it may seem like a morbid event to outsiders, those who participate in it view it as a joyful occasion, a time to honor the memory of their ancestors and the lives of the deceased. The Day of the Dead is a celebration seeped in tradition and symbols. The ofrenda is one such tradition that remains a pivotal part of the day's festivities. The Spanish word "ofrenda" translates as "offering", and ofrendas resemble alters or shrines which are dedicated to the dead. They are usually set up in homes and are left out as a welcoming gesture for the deceased, whose yearly visits to the living occur on this night. Ofrendas are come in many shapes and sizes, from simple presentations to elaborate spreads. They are usually prepared on a table which has been covered by a fine, white tablecloth. Tissue paper with designs cut into it, called papel picado, are then set over the cloth. There are many components to ofrendas. For each deceased relative, a candle is set out and lit so that the light can guide the spirits on their way back to earth. Flowers are also placed on the ofrenda, to represent the ephemeral quality of life. Salt and water quench the thirst of the souls and water purifies and cleanses them. One of the most important parts ...

The Christmas Visit (1959) [HQ] A Russian Boy and His Tree

► xmasflix.com THE CHRISTMAS VISIT (1959) Made in Russia, translated and dubbed in English. The vintage animated story features a Russian boy named Koyla from Moscow. The boy tries to take his 'holiday' tree to his father, who's serving in Antarctica, since there are no trees there. Santa Claus loans the boy his magic jet to get there, and other speaking creatures help him on his way later. The cartoon was made during the rise of the cold war. Russia was central to the Soviet Union, which was essentially an atheist state, no doubt our English translation took a few friendly liberties with the storyline. Notice the interesting Cyrillic lettering in the film. Thirteen days after Western Christmas, on January 7th, the Russian Orthodox Church celebrates its Christmas, in accordance with the old Julian calendar. It's a day of both solemn ritual and joyous celebration After the 1917 Revolution, Christmas was banned throughout Russia, along with other religious celebrations. It wasn't until 75 years later, in 1992, that the holiday was openly observed. Today, it's once again celebrated in grand fashion, with the faithful participating in an all-night Mass in incense-filled Cathedrals amidst the company of the painted icons of Saints. Christmas is one of the most joyous traditions for the celebration of Eve comes from the Russian tradition. On the Eve of Christmas, it is traditional for all family members to gather to share a special meal. The various foods and customs ...

Wedding Ideas For Brides On A Budget Black And Green Wedding Idea

This is just an idea I came up with due to my love for the two colors black and green combined. Keep in mind the black in this video is the black tulle that merely creates a dark veil over a basic white table linen. The flowers I used for this video are silk green hydrangeas. Of course I use silk for demo purposes, however I see no problem in using silk for your wedding decorations. hydrangeas are great "fill" flowers just like greenery, however they come in many gorgeous colors, so they also make wonderful bridal bouquets, and bridesmaid bouquets.
